Post 8 Resolution
The resolution to the "Lay of Thrym" is when Thor gets his hammer back from Thrym. While he is in disguise as me. Thor then reveals himself and goes forth in killing Thrym the frost giant. Then killing the other giants that are at the feast to celebrate the supposed wedding that was meant to happen with me. With Thor killing Thrym and the other giants. He is insuring that his hammer his power will remain safe and secure. For he and the other gods and goddesses will not have to fear his power and strength being stolen by those particular giants ever again. So in short Thor dressed as me got his hammer back and insured the safety of his power.
